Spirit Airlines Complaint - Spirit Airlines Should be Embarrassed of their Customer Service
Spirit Airlines should be embarrassed of the customer service on their reservations system. I first tried to book online, and the system confirmed that I had indeed made my reservation. When I did not receive confirmation by email, I called the 1-800 number and waited more than 20 minutes for an agent. The agent told me the WEBSITE IS NOT WORKING at all - then why keep it up you might ask? Why not note on the website that it is not working at all and people should not make reservations, input their credit card numbers, etc?
I finally booked on the phone with the agent, EVEN THOUGH THE TICKET PRICE WAS HIGHER and they would not honor the on-line price. When I received the email confirmation I noticed that the outgoing flight was incorrect. I called to get it corrected and after waiting again for 20 minutes, I explained the situation and THEY REQUIRED $70 TO CORRECT THEIR MISTAKE. I said this was unacceptable AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME!!!
Apparently they cannot even deal with their own mistakes, either online or on the phone.
