ROBINSONVILLE, NEW JERSEY -- In short, I ordered a queen size bed from Levitz Furniture. After waiting for 4 weeks for delivery, they delivered two headboards and NO footboard. They could not redeliver the missing item for 3 weeks nor would they make an exception and have a separate truck bring the other half of my order. I made arrangements with the delivery dispatch caller to pickup my footboard under the condition that my $59.00 paid for delivery would be refunded. I drove 1.5 hours from PA to NJ to pick my furniture item. We had to open 4 boxes of footboards to find one that was not damaged. Excess glue was on all the footboards, deep gouges in the wood and holes in another footboard. Crappy, flimsy construction. After retrieving the footboard, I called the next day to check on my delivery refund, only to be told that they would not be refunding any delivery charge and that their warehouse associate can not authorize a refund.

Their customer service is non-existent and after 5 phone calls the issue is still not resolved.

Never shop at Levitz. New Slogan, Leave it at Levitz!!!

Leave it at Levitz: If your original delivery was incomplete, why did you accept it ? I think you should have refused the partial order.
