DaimlerChrysler Informative - unheated mirrors on PT Cruiser
STERLING HEIGHTS, MICHIGAN -- I unfortunatly assumed in this day and age that a car costing over $23,000 would be equiped with heated mirrors. It turns out that the PT Cruiser doesn't even offer this as an option.I've been essentially unable to drive my PT the last 2 days because of the unsafe conditions resulting from freezing rain obscuring the side view mirrors. This is a 2003 model. My 10 year old Concorde had this feature and I naturally assumed all cars now did. Please Daimler Chrysler, correct this major shortcoming on this vehicle. It definately poses a safety hazard especially since the PT Cruiser already has a high number of blind spots.
