Clear Lake Infinite Complaint - Ignoring Customer Based On Looks

Review by mirandie on 2007-09-22
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I decided to go to clear lake infinite to purchase a vehicle. I went to browse the selection and nobody came to greet me.
I thought maybe I should go make my self known, after all the place is not that big.
I went inside and still no body looked twice at me.

So I walked out. When I was leaving the parking lot, a woman sales person came running up to me. Oh, good better late than never. No she wasn't there to show me anything. I had stop to adjust my mirrors and she thought I was about to park on the sales lot.

No I explained I was leaving and I doubt anyone would be able to park in their lot seeing as they weren't hard pressed to sell anything.

As I was leaving I noticed the only people the sales folks were rushing to were the folks that looked affluent. I am an employed professional of $55,000.00/yr.

I wound up acquiring what I wanted at a dealership up the freeway instead. I was told the Infinite truck was the same as a Nissan Armada and the pricing was better. The service not based on looks was way better too.

Just an FYI -- you were looking for an Infiniti not an Infinite. I thought car salesmen loved everyon that had any potential to be able to get a loan!

and you needed a gas-guzzling SUV because? makes you "look" better?

is that correct?

I would have just asked why no one came to assist me instead of assuming I didn't look good enough to be helped.

Good question. What makes you think its looks. Maybe those people went looking for a salesperson. I would have.

Sorry you seem to have been bashed around so much first by the dealer then on M3C. You could have provided a bit more info though. Nothing you posted here would keep someone from shopping at this dealership. Maybe they were just busy? "I went inside and still no body looked twice at me."? Were they supposed to read your mind? Did you walk up to the counter and ask for a salesperson? Maybe they thought you were there for something else?
