Golds Gym - Millis, MA Complaint - Horrible Customer Service
MILLIS, MASSACHUSETTS -- I joined Golds and had a month to month membership. They allow autopay only so last month I had the misfortune of having my pocketbook stolen. The CC company reissued me new cards - it was a mess! In the meantime,my autopay bills became messed up - all were very decent about it except golds. The "receptionist/manager" told me that I would be fined a return fee along with my backed up (now 2)monthly fees - I had already emailed them off the golds site a few days after the theft.
Turns out - they don't read their email and don't really care. She told me that to resolve it I would have to come in person - the manager won't talk on the phone. So now - I just want to pay what I owe and cancel. Again - ONLY IN PERSON! You have to be kidding me!
I probably will because I have since discovered that even by registered mail - they ignore your correspondence.
STAY AWAY - they are cretins!!!
