MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN -- I recently bought a new pair of snazzy shell-toed Reeboks from Footlocker and after about 3 hours of wearing them, I noticed a pain along the side of my right foot. I took them off to investigate and ended up peeling off my sock, right along with a nickel sized piece of delicate foot skin. I went to the store for a refund and they refused, saying they were worn (I told them that was how my foot got injured, so yes, they were worn we agreed), they offered an exchange, but due to my foot size ( I wear a women's 12, men's 10.5), I was unable to find anything else that I liked in my size.

So now I have a pair of shoes in a box taking up space in my closet that won't be worn by anyone and $50 bucks lighter in the wallet.

Sell the shoes on Ebay or donate the shoes to a local thrift store.

Ummm... shoes do sometimes have to be broken in. Try wearing the around with a couple pairs of thick socks until their broken in.

Sounds like a major blister. I agree, they probably need to be broken in. Could you put some of those blister pads on the irritated area, so that you can wear the Reboks??

MRM - I ain't got it like that, bro. If I could take the hit I surely would.

bargod-UMMMM. I'm a woman with huge feet, I have to break in all my shoes (*rimshot*). LMAO I have a handy dandy shoe stretcher, but alas...it no worky, hence the ouchies. :)

Alley S: by wearing them , I guess, I don't know. This hasn't ever happened.

steve-copped some vans from shoe carnival this past weekend. They feel like house shoes "Ahhhhhhhhhhh". :)

I'll try the blister pads as soon as I get the sensation back in my big toe area.
