Simply Burgers Complaint - Tricked - Hamburgers

Review by VJay on 2007-09-28
GILBERT, ARIZONA -- Simply Burgers claims to be a cut above typical fast food. They go to great lengths to promote their quality ingredients to back up the high price for a burger. Do not be fooled. They are near my work and I have eaten there many times. During multiple visits I looked for the menu item that backed up the better-Burger Claim. IT DOES NOT EXIST! The place is a sham. The food is below average. The service is slow.

They simply do not live up to the concept. Me and my co-workers will never eat there again.

"...I have eaten there many times."

So, how many times did you eat there before you were hit with this revelation? How many burgers did you have to pound down before you came to the realization, "Hey. This is just the same old stuff everybody else serves! What a honkin' rip!"

.....And just what were you looking for, VJ?

Any store can claim they are the best at something...it's a grey area legally and not really something that can be quantified in any real terms.
There is a store near my parents' place in the Keys that claims to be the world's largest supplier of sunglasses. This is patently untrue(the store is about the size of a large walk in closet)but I haven't written them a letter challenging their claim. Now that I have read your letter, perhaps I should.......but I am just not feeling your level of moral outrage.
If you don't like the food, don't eat there anymore.QED.

I don't think ANY fast food is a 'cut above', so, stop going there if it bothers you that much.

That is like Papa John's slogan, "Better ingredients, better pizza." No one has shown me any evidence that Papa John's uses better ingredients. No way have they shown me any reason for paying more money than Pizza Hut, because their pizzas sure aren't any better.

As the owner of Simply burgers, I would like to respond to some of the statements posted on "My 3 Cents". Yes it is true we go to great lengths to promote quality ingredients on our menu. Why you ask, because we use them. We are the only quick service (not fast food as Vjay claimed for his slow service observation) which offers Kobe beef,Free Range Chicken and Organic Salads on its menu. All of our fried menu items are cooked in Zero trans fat Canola oil.We do not use anything canned and most sauces are prepared fresh daily. Our prices are certainly not for every one. The fast food restaurants out there do not use what we use, so they can afford to charge less. I am sorry to say, but one has to pay a price for quality. Ofcourse I don't need to mention a large selection on our menu.
Here is a link to recent media exposure for our restaurant.
