Sprint PCS Informative - SPRINT SUCKS - Worst company in the world
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- Problem began when I received my bill on August 29th, 2007. I noticed I was being charged for $229 of Canadian Roaming fees between 2 cell phones and a laptop "aircard". I was not IN Canada, so I did not understand these charges and called Sprint on Aug 30th. The representative figured out that due to my location in the San Juan Islands (in the United States) during the time I was charged the roaming fees, it was likely that my phone picked up a Canadian tower instead of an American tower. OK I said, that explains it, but how come I am being charged this amount when my plan clearly states that I have unlimited roaming when in the United States. He said that he would file a dispute and someone would get back to me within 48 hours. NOBODY CONTACTED ME. On Sept. 30th, 2007 I again contacted Sprint and spoke with Adrian ID# Ashell06. She stated that her computer showed where I phoned in but that a complaint or dispute was never filed. I then sat on hold for 20 minutes for her supervisor Earl ID# EJOHNS95. Earl stated that he would escalate this to a claim and that someone would get back to me within 48 hours after investigating this. I made sure that Earl understood that I was disputing the roaming charges of $229 on my Jul 25 - Aug 24 bill. He stated he understood.
On Oct. 2, I had not received a phone call from Sprint and so again I had to phone. After waiting on hold for 18 minutes, I finally talk with someone. She looks up my dispute ID number and then transfers me to the "fraud" dept where I sit on hold for another 10 minutes. Someone from the fraud dept quickly tells me that "Our investigation shows that your phone has not been cloned". I say EXCUSE ME? My complaint is over incorrect roaming charges, who said anything about my phone being cloned? I hear a "click" on the phone and I am transferred to the incoming lines at Sprint. I still have not received any correction of this erroneous roaming charge of $229.
I would like others to join me in picketing the downtown Seattle Sprint store.
