Dish Network Informative - Commercial Installation Defective
DALLAS, TEXAS -- This one will get your blood to boil. Back in March 2007, our building, over 200 apartments, converted from Direct TV to Dish. Never had a prior problem with Direct TV. After the conversion, my equipment never worked right. When turned on the system, only had a blank screen with note at top of "Info Not Available". Had to put it through check switch several times, took up to ten minutes to get a picture. I have had Dish tech's out - get this - 13 times, and they still can't get it figured out. Now, this will be the 14th time, and they just give me the runaround. I am now considering small claims court. Amazing.....I get rotten service, yet they still have the guts to send me a monthly billing and demand I pay or they will shut me off. It's just sad we don't have a choice anymore. Customer service that doesn't care. Tech's that don't know what they are doing.....even lucky they can find their own way home.
After 7 months, and 13 tech visits, I think I have been more than patient. Anybody out there give me advice as to what to do? I want Direct TV back, but the complex only has contract with Dish. I feel as if my rights have taken a back seat.
