Rubio's Compliment - A Southwest Gem

Review by shelly16 on 2007-10-05
CHANDLER, GILBERT AND MESA, ARIZONA -- Since relocating from the East Coast to the Southwest, one of my favorite fast food restaurants is Rubio's. Their menu choices and food quality is very different, especially being in a location where you find many Mexican restaurants. Everything they offer is made from fresh ingredients and you can certainly taste the difference when you're eating their food. The prices are slightly higher, but worth every penny. Their fish tacos is probably the most popular item on the menu and you can order them with corn OR flour tortilla's and are $1 on Tuesdays after 2pm! A real bargain, I tell ya!!

If you're in the CA or AZ area and have not yet tried Rubio's, I can promise you won't be disappointed.

Sounds like Baja Fresh. Their items are also from fresh ingredients. But recently the quality has gone downhill and the prices uphill.

Passingby, Baja Fresh and Rubios both do have fresh ingredients, that is 100% accurate information and I wasn't stating otherwise, but there is a huge difference between both of these restaurants food, Rubio's being much better.

Rubios is way better than Baja Fresh. I am from SoCal and I grew up on Rubios.
