Cinco Ranch Dental Complaint - Inconvenient and Poor Customer Service
KATY, TEXAS -- I attempted to go to Cinco Ranch Dental for my second visit today. My last visit was fine. I thought the dental hygienist was very nice and personable. It was for this reason that I decided to go back 6 months later. My appointment was made 6 months ago and I was told I would be reminded a week in advance. Instead, I got a call the day before my appointment and was told it would have to be rescheduled because the dental hygienist would be out. I thought to myself that it was odd that a practice would only have one dental hygienist, but I confirmed a Tuesday at 9 AM appointment anyway. At 9:01 AM on Tuesday I was called and told it was 9:05 and my appointment was at 9 AM. I called back at 9:07 and said I was on my way.
I was asked if I was "just down the road" and I said that I would be there in a couple minutes. I arrived at 9:10 AM, signed in and after waiting a couple minutes was told that my appointment would have to be rescheduled because I was 17 minutes late for my appointment. I told the customer service representative that her clock was fast. One of the other receptionist quickly responded "our clocks are on military time and it is 9:14 AM." I informed the intruder into the conversation that the other receptionist had stated it was 9:17 AM.
I then said I did not appreciate being called at 9:01 and being told I was late. I said that I would just go somewhere were they had more than one dental hygienist. I hope you read this review before you take off of work twice to go to the dentist and still are not seen. It seems to me that a practice should be able to accommodate a working individual that is a couple minutes late to their appointment.
