NCO Financial Systems Complaint - Harassing Me On My Job
OPELOUSAS, LOUISIANA -- On October 11, 2007, I received a message from a co-worker that someone had called for me while I was out. I returned the called and asked for the person that had left the message. I asked her who was she with, and she refused to give me that information until I would answer her question, which was, Give me your I.D. Code? Well, my co-worker did not give me such a code. She then said she was with a collection agency. I advised the lady not to call on my job and hung up. She called back and insisted that I pay for a debt that entailed $14,000, but she would accept $7,000 (cutting it in half for me). Again, I told not to call on my job and hung up. Well, she called back again, asking for the payroll department and stated she was trying to do me a favor but now I would have to pay the full amount. I told her we did not have a payroll dept. here and if she had my home number to please call me at home.
She replied yes we have your home number, but can never reach you. I then hung up on her again, because we are not to receive personal calls on the job. What can I do to stop this harassment.
