Claim Jumper Informative - Claim Jumper Frozen Dinners - YUCK!

Review by CrystalSword on 2007-10-11
COOLIDGE, ARIZONA -- We occasionally buy frozen dinners to have on hand for nights when we don't want to cook. I got a good deal on the Claim Jumper brand and they are just awful. They taste greasy, and not at all good.

We'll stick with Marie Callendar's that are like home cooking. Swanson's Hungry Man dinners are okay, but Marie does it best!

Just a note on finishing here, the Claim Jumper Restaurants are great, food is wonderful and service is really good. We're just going to pass on the frozen dinners, there is no comparison!

That is just like the White Castle hamburgers we get here. They come 6 to a box in the grocer's freezer. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, and my first job after high school was White Castle. I love fresh-made sliders, but the frozen ones we are limited to here don't make the grade.

The same principle applies to any restaurant's menu items. I had those frozen “White Castle” hamburgers and “Pizzeria Uno” Chicago-style pizza from local supermarkets. They are no comparison with the restaurant version. I avoid wasting money on them.

well coming from a small town(Colorado Springs)... I would still prefer the frozen over McDonalds and Wendies. I love them to death and will purchase the frozen for years to come.
