United Credit Adjusters Informative - False Claims and a Scam at best

Review by dejavu816 on 2007-10-13
MANASQUAN, NEW JERSEY -- I've done business with United Credit Adjusters and they charged me $754.95 which they took from my debit card for the last 4 months and gave me absolutely no results whatsoever. So far I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and am waiting to hear from them.I am demanding my money back for services not rendered. If I have to take these crooks to court I am willing to do that.

Also they will be hearing from the federal government because these people need to be shut down.Their taking your money before services are even given and that's against the law ! They make all these false claims which they know that they can not keep. It's a big Scam basically anything they can do you can do yourself for free,I'm finding out.

Of course all they do is take your hard earned money and give you nothing in return.

Why did you give them your debit card number and authorize them
to make these deductions if you did not want them to do so ?
Good luck.

David, the primary purpose of the BBB is to use it to investigate a company BEFORE doing business with it. There are numerous additional entities that you may inquire to find out about a companies status or reputation. Using these options before you become separated from your money, will save you a lot of grief. Public records may be examined for free with lawsuits against the company being your first starting point.

The BBB is not much help either before or after, but it isnt much trouble to file a complaint to them and it can work for you. I have had good results twice. Companies do not like to have unresolved complaints in their file when someone calls to find out if they are reliable.

If a consumer checks with the BBB first and finds multiple unresolved complaints logged against a company, and because of that, decides not to risk their money with that company, would that not be helpful?

You understand the word much?

David - The BBB has no legal authority to get anyone to do anything. Contact the Attorney General and the District Attorney in your state/area. They have consumer protection specialists/departments in most areas and may be able to press criminal charges against this "company."

As I have previously stated before, this company is a scam, and their downfall is currently under way. They are under investigation. If you have been wronged by them you can contact the Monmouth County Consumer Affairs Division and make a report.
