Starbucks - Turkey Complaint - Starbucks - Appalling Service and Hygiene

ISTANBUL -- I have tried to contact Starbucks Turkey but without success.

I was working in Istanbul and visited their store near the Blue Mosque. The service was appalling and the store dirty with staff unconcerned to clean tables or deal with customers. This is a 'one off' I thought. Then leaving from Istanbul Airport I used their services again. Again, dirty and with staff laughing and joking while tables remained uncleared. I watched as a customer bought a coffee. picked it up and the lid fell off. Coffee spilt all over him and all over the floor. Laughter only from the staff. Eventually one member did give him a cloth to clean the coffee from his clothing. But their laughter and disregard for service continued.

I use Starbucks less and less as the brand quality(and with it staff training) seems to get more and more watered down. There is a lesson in growth here and the need for a more consistent direction in quality, training, performance.

Starbucks is an American Company. Given the current situation between Turkey and the U.S. I doubt anyone in the Turkish Starbucks cares!
