Huggies Informative - Why Won't You Come Out!!!
MADISONVILLE, KENTUCKY -- I purchased Huggies Clean Team brand body wash and shampoo for the kids to use in the tub. My oldest was the first one to try it out.
Let me start by saying this package is not kid friendly at all! The lid is a slide up and slide down, but the plastic on the bottle is so hard he couldn't squeeze it out without breaking a blood vessel. I went in there to make sure he wasn't just playing around, and he wasn't. I squeezed that bottle as hard as I could and nothing. I call my husband into the bathroom and he couldn't squeeze it out.
We finally gave into defeat and pulled the top off to let him pour it out.
Ten seconds later as I'm folding the towels I hear the blood curtailing soap in the eyes scream. (I'd rather hear nails on a chalk board) He said the new soap burned his eyes. Mind you the bottle clearly states this product is tear free. I figured he accidentally got into the bar soap on the side of the tub and got in his eyes while washing his face. All was better, ice pop given to make us feel better.
Round two, the three year old. I fill up the tub and add the soap. I add the blinding blue soap to the tub and I notice that it does not dissolve that great. It leaves the water electric blue for at least a minute and does not foam up as bubble bath should.
Now the test, I wash my son and the second it gets on his face he too lets out the soap got in my eyes screech. Once again the product clearly states on the bottle, gentle skin conditioning tear free formula. I think not.
So what we have is a product targeted specifically for kids, that burns their eyes and is extremely difficult for them to squeeze out on their own. If you take the top off the liquid inside is so thin it just pours out like water. Now it is a waste of the 3.59 I paid for it.
All in all this product is a waste of money and I would not recommend this product at all. Stick to Kandoo.
