Red Cat Restaurant Complaint - Watered-Down, Overpriced Drinks, Poor Service

Review by fench on 2007-10-18
CLIFTON, NEW JERSEY -- First I ordered whiskey on the rocks. What I got was a glass of ice water with a squirt of whiskey in it. I brought it back to the bar and asked for whiskey, with ice cubes. Tending bar was the owner, Anna, who argued that "customers complain that the drinks are too strong" and only after much reluctance and drama did she replace my TEN DOLLAR drink. Several drink orders at my table of six were also wrong or poorly made.

When the check came, several of us were charged for more items than were ordered. In short, the owner was argumentative and rude, the waiter didn't speak English, ignored us, and screwed up our order. The food was fine, but certainly not worth the outrageous prices. The whole ordeal proved very expensive.

....And yours is cheap Vodka, pirate!
Fench, I have never heard of anyone complaining that a drink was too strong. If you order a "straight drink" what would you expect? Anna, is full of you know what.

And yours is whatever the hobo huddled next to you is having.
