LostMyPhone.com Complaint - Bad Service, Bad Product
I recently purchased a phone from LostMyPhone.com. This phone was for my wife as a gift. When I ordered it they promised shipping same day. And curiously required a checked box that would later relieve me of the ability to charge back my credit card. They also stated the phone was NEW or REFURBED. I thought that meant Factory Refurbished. After one month of not hearing from then, I tried to call- They don't take calls for service- just orders. So I emailed- They don't respond. Finally got a person while pretending to buy a phone and asked about my order. Was given lots of excuses, later they gave me the ISN # to checkout with my phone carrier. Said I had to do this prior to them shipping ??? Never heard of that before. I did and that number was OK. The phone was delivered a week or so later. Condition of phone looked like it fell off a moving vehicle. More than just scratches, This had dents like from gravel or something. The phone otherwise seemed to function - Until I called to have it turned on. The ESN # didn't match the phone.
Maybe Refurb means they refurbed it? Well in a nutshell I own a phone that I can't use from a company that won't respond for a wife that deserves better. I ended up buying new retail from her carrier just to get out of the DOG HOUSE. Wish I read reviews (Not written by Them) about this company before hand.
