EA Games Compliment - Awesome Tech Support
MADISONVILLE, KENTUCKY -- I bought a copy of The Sims 2 H&M Fashion Stuff for my computer. Sadly this is what the bored mommy does when the kids are asleep and the housework is done. Plays video games.
I went to install it on my computer and it kept coming up with an error message. So I did all the steps and re-installed the game and none of the items that came with the game showed up in my computer.
I called EA Technical Support and spoke with an extremely friendly and professional representative name Joe. I explained to him what the problem was and he informed me that the copy I have may be corrupted in some form.
He advised me not to return it to the store, but instead send a copy of the receipt along with all the packaging to EA Games and they will provide me with a new copy of the game.
I thought it was too good to be true until today when UPS showed up at my door with a box. It had a new copy of the game as well as a refund check for the shipping!
All in all I must say that I am extremely pleased with the customer service I received from this company. I will be making sure to purchase new The Sims 2 games in the future.
