Open Road Honda - Edison NJ Informative - Damanaged & Repaired New Truck

Review by bill316 on 2007-10-29
EDISON, NEW JERSEY -- I bought a New Ridgeline Truck from OPEN ROAD HONDA that has a different color Door. Who checks out a New Vehicle, you believe it's New with No defects and then you find out that you bought a New Vehicle that may have fallen off a transporter and was never informed about it. Both fenders on mine are Higher than the Hood, the gap between the Hood and Grille goes from 1/16" to 1/2" in the Middle back to 1/16".

The Quarter Panel has bee spotted in, the Rear bumper cover has been repainted and installed while the Paint was still Soft and is now flaking off. The Rear Bed Liner has been removed for ? The Hood has been removed and then touchup paint was used to cover over the parts not painted and are now rusting. The Hood lock hits the cross bar when the Hood is closed. For 2 Months I have tried to get them to give Me what I bought, a new truck. The Dealer and America Honda only want to paint this truck. Please Check out your NEW Vehicle no matter what you buy, they are still out for what they can get and don't care about. You bought it and your stuck with it.

I was told that the Factory can paint the Vehicle and that is OK, well I was told by an Agent at the Factory that the Factory has no way of Re-Painting at the Factory except the Production Line so who paints them??? I have at least 7 places where they have repaired this truck and they say they will paint it, does this sound like they care or just after your Money? This would never happen with a Chevy truck. Live and learn, i guess...

It is unlawful to sell a vehicle that has been damaged without revealing the details. Check it out with a lawyer.
