General Motors Informative - Poor Service for Poor Product
LOUISIANA -- I bought my 2007 Tahoe about 6 months ago from Supreme Chevrolet. A week after I bought it, I noticed a few minor interior flaws. I returned to the dealership 3 times to hear "we are too busy, bring it back in a few days". Finally...... they take it in! After 6 hours of waiting they tell me they have to order a new instrument panel! After finally getting the new instrument panel in, they fix it????? Kinda, Now my dashboard is out of line and the glove box will not line up. Bring it back a few weeks later because the lift gate and tire pressure sensor went out. They tell me that the dash can't be fixed and receive the truck back full of greasy fingerprints!! After loosing my cool with the service manager, I call GM Customer Assistance Center. She tells me I have to pay out of pocket if I bring it to another dealership because it is poor workmanship...which isn't covered under warranty, but the service manager told her to tell me call him personally, and he would make everything right.
Three calls, and two weeks later, still no response from him. And of course...the tire pressure sensor and lift gate are both out again!! Think I will trade it in for a FORD!!!!
