Cadex Watches Complaint - Cadex Watch Rip Off - Cadex Watch pill reminder

Review by ripped off customer on 2007-11-03
KETCHUM, IDAHO -- Purchased watch last year; it was shipped, on Aug. 28, 2006. Two weeks after the warranty was up the watch died. I took the time to take it to a professional watch repairer. The repairer put a new battery into the watch, it immediately became dim and unreadable. He told me to send the watch back to where I purchased it, because something was draining the battery and it was not in his area of expertise to repair it. The watch was one year and two weeks old. The watch was never neglected. I think the company practices planned obsolescence. The company not only sells inferior products, it also does not answer consumer complaints. I wrote a letter to them to no avail. I resorted to posting my comments online. One comment was posted on the youtube.com web site where the company is advertising. They deleted my negative comments and banned me from submitting any more.

They only kept the positive comments. The watch was not cheap. The company gears their sales to people with medical problems. This company is a total fraud! Buy an alarm clock it's cheaper!

How much did you pay for this watch? I bought an Armitron at Target two and a half years ago for $20.00 and it hasn't had a single problem. I haven't even had to replace the battery yet. :)

Buy from your local jeweler. They will take care of you. After all, who did you take the watch to to get the battery replaced? YOUR LOCAL JEWELER!
