Toys R Us Complaint - Pre-order of Wii Playground
I am so angry and disappointed in Toys R Us and their on-line products/service! I pre-ordered Wii Playground on 10/17 for the release date of 10/22/07. After the release date had come and gone, I received an email saying that due to whatever reason, the game would not be released until 10/31. That would have been fine, except it was in all the stores at that point. I called on 10/25 to request a cancellation so I wouldn't lose any shipping costs and guess what?? I got an email dated 10/25 saying that the game was shipped out (huh?? what happened to the 10/31 date?) So I've been waiting and waiting and waiting and it's now 11/6 and still no game. In the meantime, I see the game at Wal-mart and Circuit City. I would buy it but then I paid shipping costs to get it on the original release date. I bought the item as a birthday gift and it pains me to tell the child that even if his birthday was back in Oct. I still did not have his gift. Customer service at Toys R us are not helpful at all, they can't track the item and they couldn't offer a full refund.
I will never buy any item on-line from Toys R US again and I suggest you be very wary if you do the same. I know another close friend of mine that this same exact thing happened to. Shameful!!!
