Mike Dorian Ford Complaint - Lies, Lies, Lies - Salesman

Review by mellerman on 2007-11-06
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN -- Was referred to this dealership and was I wrong for going there. Paid cash for a 2006 Town and Country. The salesman told me(I did not ask) that it came with a 7/70 warranty that I could transfer for $50.00. The van had 37+ miles on it already so I was interested in the warranty. He claimed he would take care of this for me and blah, blah, blah. Needed plates transferred and he gave me the run around on that one too. Claimed that Chrysler didn't release the title. Again , Blah, blah, blah. Called a Chrysler dealership today and was informed that the 2006 T & C comes with a 3/36 not a 7/70 as I was told it did. They are liars all around. Even spoke to the "Owner" and he would not stand behind his product.

What a Joke!! I have owned 2 Toyotas and a Kia and have had no problem. Ya wonder why the auto industry is doing so crappy. Here is reason #1. Lousy dealers that lie. Now I have No warranty except for the crappy 12/12 from the dealer where they will pay the first 10%. Big F***** deal. DO NOT go to Dorian Ford. I was offered to but an extended warranty at cost. I don't think so. Buy foreign. To hell with Ford, Chrysler and GM.

Did you read everything before signing it? Maybe he was saying something important when going "blah blah blah" were you listening?

He said you could transfer it for $50.00, right? Did you pay the $50.00? If no, that should have been your first clue that something was amiss. Secondly, it all would have been spelled out in your contract, which you should have read (thoroughly), before signing. I agree, dealers are shady, and they count on customers not really listening and not really reading through the contract before they sign on the dotted line.
