Anheiser Busch Complaint - Leaking cans - Bush select beer

Review by bob12345678 on 2007-11-07
WASHINGTON, MICHIGAN -- Bought a 24 pack of Budweiser select beer and later found my refrigerator a mess. Two of the cans had leaks in them and you can imagine what 24 oz of beer all over the refrigerator made.

Take them back to where you bought them. They were probably damanged in shipping.

I would have sopped it up and drank it anyway.LOL

It would be hard to prove that he bought the beer like that. Bob, you must have put the beer in the fridge still in the packaging, right?

you should have rip corded them.

You're better off without them. Take the Bud back and pick up some beer that actually has flavor. :-)

That's odd, usually the beer makes ME leak.

Agree with KCRovert.

I agree with Spiderman2. Take it back.

If the cans were "damaged in shipping" wouldn't all or most of the product have leaked out in the store? Couldn't a person see a wet and damaged box? No my fellow posters, I hold the complainant here at fault. Likely his fridge is set too cold, causing the precious nector to freeze in the can, then explode! Sometimes there are colder spots in a fridge that can do that. *bows* *the crowd applauds*

There a numerous possibilities here, kind sir. Yours is just one and I have NEVER seen a can of ANYTHING explode in the fridge area.

put a can of pop in the freezer - get back to us.
Posted by Anonymous on 2007-11-07:
I said in the FRIDGE area not the FREEZER.
Posted by Anonymous on 2007-11-07:
zzrokk, I am fairly certain you're intelligent enough to realize that if one sets his fridge side temp too cold, that placing freezeable items near the cold air inlet will in fact cause them to freeze. Come on now. tut tut.

PWP -- I see these things happen all the time, but what do I know? I only work in a beverage store which sells said brand.
Posted by Anonymous on 2007-11-07:
Okay but why would you have it THAT cold in the first place? That's what the FREEZER is for.

Thanks for backing me on an obvious problem solve, Spider!

If you had purchased a refrigerator with spill proof shelving, you wouldn't of even had anything to complain about. Instead, you're mad that your Schlitz or Red, White and Blue (about 18 cents per can) is gone. lol...

PBR me ASAP.
Posted by LegalCollector on 2007-11-08:
the only thing that smells worse than budweiser in a can is when it spills. gross.

If I'm hungry: Guinness
If I'm thirsty: Newcastle Brown Ale
If I'm making chili: Some mass-produced American "pilsner" junk
Posted by Anonymous on 2007-11-08:
^^^^You are spot on KC!! I have a story behind Newcastle. Lets just say that the bottles don't break that easily.
