Portrait Studio at Plano West Super Target Complaint - Bad Service of the Portrait Studio at Plano West Super Target
PLANO, TEXAS -- On 09/17, we went to the portrait studio at Plano West Super Target to take some family portraits. It is the first time we went to Target to take pictures. I was allured by online coupons and the price looked attractive. However, I found out that I made a wrong choice.
1. The studio in Plano West Super Target is really small with no air conditioning inside the room. During the setting period, we had to come out frequently to breathe some cold air. 2. The technician who was taking the photos did not have much experience, although she was friendly. She made no good suggestions and the results were poor. Those pictures are the worst if compared to the ones we took before at other studios! 3. After all the photos taken and I tried to make selections from computer screen, I found that, for whatever reason, I could not see a clear picture on that screen! 4. For the last thing and the most annoyed one, I picked up the photos on 10/2 as scheduled and I found that they were not printed right! One selection set was missing, a photo was cropped badly, and another one was not the size I wanted. The manager told me that another order would be sent back to the lab and I could pick them up on the 22nd. I was there on the 25th but no photos were there, and no one knew why. On the following Monday, I called the studio and I was told that the lab did not receive the order, meaning they forgot to send the order back in, and I needed to wait until I was called. Of cause, I did not hear anything till today, Nov.8th, almost two months!
After all this, I do not think the money I spent is worthy at all. Although the studio gave me a coupon for the make-up, I do not think I am going to this place for a second time.
I strongly believe that this place is not qualified to do the job, and it should not be on service. I understand that Target subcontract the job to someone else; however, Target should make sure the quality of the service it can provides.
I would like to give the photos back to the studio and request a refund. I want to see that, either the studio improves its service level dramatically, or not being there.
