Group Health Associates In Kenwood Informative - Poor Service - Doctor Office

Review by gile on 2007-11-09
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- My family has been going to Group Health Associates in Kenwood for over 12 years.

We are very happy with our doctors, however, over the past three years the services has gradually declined in quality. The phones are never answered, and when they are, you are put on hold for an average of 25 minutes. The support staff and front desk help are very cold and lack any empathy what so ever. Our average wait, with an appointment is over 40 minutes.

The place is going down hill fast. I have tried to call and talk with the powers at hand.... but NOBODY in those positions has ever taken the time to call back.
If you want empathic, caring, efficient people, DO NOT GO TO GROUP HEALTH in Kenwood.

I also went to GHA in Kenwood. I am a new patient and went there because a certain doctor was recommended. I found the offices dark and quite shabby. The doctor seemed okay, but very little medical history was asked. When I called the office a month later to try to talk with the doctor about my condition not improving, I was not treated well. I called in the morning and by late afternoon when the doctor hadn't called back, I called again and the office people were very rude saying that she had my message (was alto told her last appointment had been 3:20pm and it was now 4:00pm). After talking with their "call center" after 5:00pm, I finally did get a call back the next day. I felt the doctor had no interest in managing my overall health. Just a place to pick up a paycheck without having any responsibility. I will not go there again.
