Olive Garden Informative - Poor experiences

Unfortunately, no matter what your favorite restaurant is the more you frequent it you are bound to have a bad experience or two. I have been a server for most of my life, and understand the business. I consider myself a good server, attentive, sincere, and genuinely into making my guests happy and satisfied. I have found that not all servers are as passionate about there job as I am, but that fact remains about all jobs. I find people all the time that hate me from the start due to a bad experience with a past server and I suffer for most of the time I spend with them until the end when they realize I really do care!
Give everyone that serves you a fair chance to show there true colors before casting dispersions. It is a tough job, and not meant for just anyone. Realize that your experience can go from good to bad in a second depending on your attitude toward the person trying to help you. I have had many people treat me like crap, for many different reasons, yet I try to remain positive by reasoning. Unfortunately not everyone that serves you can do that. But thats life!
I am not college educated, but have learned a lot about life and how hurtful we can be to one another, without thought just by waiting tables and decided a long time ago not to take other peoples unhappiness and rude behavior to heart, although even though I realize all of this, my feelings still get hurt once in awhile because I am still at the end of the day human with feelings just like you!
