X-10 Complaint - Terrible Service at X-10
I recently bought several items from X10. One was a device that requires software to operate ("Showtime"). Although not stated in the item description, the software was not sent on a CD but had to be downloaded from the X10 site. The download program does not work.
I called X10 Customer Service, waited 17 minutes for an answer, and was finally connected to a voice mailbox! Left a message -- no response as of three days later. Sent 3 e-mails-- no response.
I intend to contact PayPal which was used to pay for the purchase and request a refund for the item in question. Looking around the internet, I see that this company is noted for bad service and unresponsiveness. Seems that all they are good at is sending endless spam once you get on their mailing list.
