Sprint/Nextel Informative - Overcharges - Telephone
DALLAS, TEXAS -- Today I wasted almost an hour going through the hoops to speak with someone at SPRINT about a mere $3.58 charge for two 411 Directory Assistance calls on 10/08 and 10/09. I checked my scheduler and at that time I was eating lunch with a friend and the phone turned off.
I called SPRINT and was advised there could not be an error "because this is a digital network" - which I knew to be ludicrous. The VA is digitized and they've had records stolen, grades at universities get altered all the time, and a host of other examples exist.
I asked the rep. to review my records online so I would know how many times I have made these kinds of payments unwittingly. He did supply that info but just passed me off to a muzak tape. I am still waiting for a supervisor to pick up the phone...15 minutes later.
