David McDavid Honda- Irving Texas Complaint - Extra charges for standard security system and keys

Review by raddocmom on 2007-11-18
TEXAS -- This Honda dealership states to the buyer the factory installed security system on the car and the remote entry key listed as standard will be removed if the buyer does not pay $399-$799. This place is about as slimy a dealership as I have ever been to.

Is that like charging extra if the car has an engine? And if you don't pay it they take out the engine?

First I would leave the dealership without the car. Second I would call the regional manager and ask why they are charging extra for standard equipment.

I wanted to buy the CRV and talked to sales person "Julian" and he quoted me some price and I gave my details about the CRV what I wanted. I went their next morning and found that they do not have the CRVs in stock and still they are trying to sell. Finally he tried to imitate one my friends accent and then I pissed off with the sales guy called Julian. I walked out and will never go back again. Worst place to go to buy the car and waste time. I am going for a different brand and not Honda this time.
