Maytag Corporation Complaint - Junk Refriegerator + Junk Customer Support
SASKATOON -- This refrigerator has been a headache since new. In 4 years we have had to replace the evaporator fan (the fan in the freezer compartment) 3 times. Thats a total of 4 fans in 4 years. One replaced under warranty, one I paid the part, and after a fierce telephone fight of about 10 calls, Maytag paid the labour. Yeesh!! What junk. Now it has happened a third time and guess what... they will not do anything about it. "Sorry.. its off warranty". Not only that the new Whirlpool customer support system conveniently lost all of our purchase history. After buying 5 appliances at one time you'd think they would care.... NOT.
That is the biggest problem.. there is no one at the customer support line that cares.. PERIOD! And no upper managers that Care.... PERIOD!!!
MY ADVICE TO ANYONE>>> DO NOT PURCHASE A MAYTAG OR WHIRLPOOL ANYTHING!
