AT&T Cable Services Complaint - Improper Installation / Tech Support
DALLAS, TEXAS -- AT&T TV and Internet was installed Nov 7 in Dallas by a non-AT&T contract tech. He connected the fiber optic cable to the TV through a coaxial cable. We had audio problems, inaudible one minute and very loud the next. Several calls to
the 1-800 Tech Service were exasperating. Only the threat to cancel service got a tech out to solve the problem. The first AT&T did little but wait two hours to get permission to change the receiver.
The second tech knew his business and diagnosed the problem. We were lucky. Our neighbor still has issues since April.
