A Beautiful House - Portland, Or Complaint - Extremely Poor Quality Of House Cleaning Service
PORTLAND, OREGON -- I contacted Travis at this company several weeks before I actually needed them for our "move in" home cleaning of our 1,850 sq. ft. completely empty home. I first requested Sunday service, which he told me he could only do (with 2 people) if absolutely necessary. I was then called by Teena who told me it would be done on Sunday after all with only 1 person. I questioned her then if 1 person would be enough for the job, which included the walls being damp wiped, the refrigerator, oven & microwave cleaned, the windows cleaned, as well as the rest of the home thoroughly cleaned. I couldn't have been more disappointed with the work done by Esther, who was supposedly their best gal. She was only here 5 hours to do all that work. Some rooms were completely untouched. They sent her back to finish some of the work (for about 1 hour); but refused to do any more after I called to complain. After the second trip, there were still cobwebs and dirt everywhere. I have several witnesses who can attest to this.
Since then, I have had to totally re-clean the home myself and have thrown no less than 20 buckets of filthy water out of the house. My laminate floors were left dull and sticky, there was sawdust in drawers, the baseboards were untouched, the oven and microwave were filthy, etc. When I called to complain, Travis said they would not send anyone back to clean it any more for free. I asked for at least a partial refund and he said no. We were presented with their invoice & paid $375.00 up front (before the job was even started) for this extremely poor job. I feel as if we were totally taken advantage of and literally screwed out of hard earned money.
I called them to clean my new home so I would not have to do it myself because I was physically unable to do the job myself. I would not ever recommend them to anyone for anything. A company like theirs that does not stand behind what they say they will do is absolutely of no use to the public.
