Sprint Complaint - Where Are The Parts
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Visiting Texas from Georgia, My volume for voice and ringer was low and the phone volume was adjusted to it's highest limit. I went to 4 different Sprint stores with and without technicians in Austin, Texas. None of the stores in Austin, Texas had a battery for my phone. My Sprint phone is less than a year old, but I was told by each store manager that Sprint doesn't make my phone anymore - that also means parts are hard to come by. My option was to renew my contract for another two years of hell (unexplained billing - a whole new subject) and get another phone, OR buy one of their phones for more than $200.
This is bait and switch. One of the store managers said he doesn't carry parts for equipment that we don't build - that's in order to keep you coming back and renewing that 2 year contract. If, you take care of your phone and may need something simple as a battery, the company will see to it that YOU HAVE TO COME BACK. You pay to stay or pay to leave - I am a financial hostage. Oh, yes, at one store I could leave my phone for 1 hour and 1/2 and they would see what they could do or they could order me a battery and have it shipped to house (7 to 10 business days). Sprint put the CON in convenient.
