Ashley Furniture Complaint - Another Disastified Customer
FRANKLIN, WISCONSIN -- Well we went to Ashely Furniture as we were moving and thought great new furniture would be nice. The little guy we bought a captains bed for and well the instructions were not in the box for the headboard we had to chase them down then the headboard cannot be mounted the headboard is drilled incorrectly to match up with the base. Then the couch and love seat at 30 days are falling apart. Our salesperson Les (whom said you can get more with Les) knew we were moving. We ordered the sofa and chaise lounge and the sofa is crashing down on the left side when you face it and the chaise is leaning to the left when sitting on it and the material buckling. The material on the couch is rubbing away and corners showing wear. We picked it up and was fine for a while and we are not home much to sit and relax.
Well I called and got Marsha and she told me cause we moved I have no warranty but I paid for one. Then she said I should have looked at the bed. To tell this we would have had to assemble this on the shipping dock then disassemble and re pack which would have taken hours. Well Marsha was no help she refused to let me talk with a supervisor and was rude and not customer service orientated at all.
I think I will also write to extreme makeover whom uses their garbage. Waste management should be advertisement for Ashely. I have filed a complaint now with consumer protection and am going to dispute with the credit card companies. This is ridiculous. One would want to think they want repeat customers. In 1 day I have told 10 people not to go there.
Any ideas? I have thought maybe we should all do a class action suit and put these waste producers out of business.
