United Welder Complaint - Possible fraud. - Welder

Review by Springer on 2007-11-27
TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA -- Ordered a Super 200p welder from United Welder July 16, 2007. Some parts were clearly used when it arrived and unit itself worked only two hours. U.W. required me to pay shipping to return unit and pay shipping to send another to me. Second unit didn't work right out of the box. U.W. did pay shipping this time and had me send only the welder, not accessories. Third unit arrived 11/26/07, but is not Super 200p. U.W. has substituted WSME200 and a Cut50 in place of the unit I ordered. Replacement units arrive with no accessories, the accessories U.W. had me keep from previous shipment will not work on these units. This is not what I ordered.

U.W. has stopped responding to my email now that I have breeched the possibility of refunding my money if they can't deliver. I have waited nearly five month and spent much time emailing these Bozo's not to mention shipping 70lb welders/large paper weights across the country.

Buyer beware of this retailer, United Welder/Otdeal/Oakland Trade LLC (I became wary when this outfit seemed to have three different names) and beware of the Manufacturer Wenzhou Rongyi for of the four examples of their products I have still to see one work properly.

Thank you to anyone who took the time to read my complaint.

That sucks. You should go straight to corporate HQ with this one. I would demand my money back and buy from another dealer. If not there is always small claims court. Yet again, maybe after the 2nd time you should have demanded money back! one thing I've learned from buying things online, if they dont get it right the 2nd time they are not going to! good luck with this.
