British Air Complaint - British Air, BBB and NYCPB ignore my request
My wife and I had to cancel a trip to England in June 2007 due to her emergency surgery. Even though the tickets (booking reference 3NAVRB)were non-refundable, we have received vouchers for other similar tickets when cancelled for medical emergency in the past. I have made 4 requests to different BA offices (including Customer Relations and Ticket Refunds), and have received no response.I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau and the New York Consumer Protection Board, with details, and have heard nothing from them either!
$1600 (tickets price)is hardly worth a law suit, but this seems more like what you'd find in a 3rd world country!
