Vonage Complaint - Customer Service Cancellation-Refunds
Beware of Vonage, they will try to rip you off by overcharging any checking account or credit card you provide for billing-then refuse to refund excess charges!
I was moving out of the area and contacted Vonage to disconnect service in the last month of my contract with them. The customer service representative however did not disconnect service-as I directed on that date.
I discovered 2 months later that they has submitted two additional months of charges against my checking account. I re-contacted them.
This time Vonage acknowledged that they know I contacted them and requested disconnection-yet they processed 2 additional months of services against my checking account, which they know I did not use- and is refusing to refund the charges because they claim the call was disconnected before they "finished processing the request".
Therefore, they simply do not want to refund the overcharges for services I DID NOT RECEIVE.
I was really shocked to discover Vonage is a grasping, dishonesty and non-customer service oriented communications company. I sincerely recommend you avoid them for VOIP service.
They are only concerned that they grab your dollar today- and they do not care about tomorrow. Don't do business with VONAGE.
