HSBC Direct Complaint - Online Savings Application
In applying for an online account at HSBC Direct, one found that they were all about getting your information and funding the account. However, they left one in the dark about HOW to access your account. After calling customer service and dealing with a CSR and the supervisor, I had no recourse but to ask for the corporate office snail mail address. If you have any desire for a well informed experience, you won't find it here. There are plenty of other outfits willing/ready to take your money.
As a side note, I was told that immediately closing the account would cost me 25 dollars. It seems rather unjust to have to pay for their bad service.
