Target Informative - Target Policy
Target policy isn't that bad, for some retailers its actually a lot better then having 30 days or even two weeks. I'm sorry but not everything can be perfect and you can take something back after like 6 months and actually expect Target to take it back. As an employee I have seen it all, people actually try to return things that were never even bought, return items that were never even bought there. Why do you think target changed there policy for under $20.00 without a receipt???? If you wanna yell at someone try yelling at the people that got it this way in the first place, hate to say it but not everyone in this world is honest and there to blame. I'm tired of hearing people yelling about the policy, best advice keep the receipt!!!!!
As for gift registries.......they are used for one purpose to let your friends/family know what you want, THERE NOT A RECEIPT! I don't know why everyone thinks they can return something just because there registered. I hear it everyday and everyone that got too many items ask for a gift slip, and if they actually gave your registry to the cashier it would have never happened (which by the way at the bottom of every registry says, "Give registry to cashier when purchasing item") Also say they forgot and realized it later, there is also a 1-800 number to call for them to take it off. Once again not targets fault, they have all these ways for everything to be prevented, but yet people still want to complain about it. Its a gift someone wanted you to have, spent time to get for you why not actually keep it, or if you got too many of the same thing have a yard sale its an easy fix to the big headache your having over one return.
