Great Restaurant - Compliment

CASA GRANDE, ARIZONA -- We just ate breakfast this morning at a new restaurant in Casa Grande, AZ, called Mimi's Cafe. It is part of the new Promenade at Casa Grande Shopping Center at Arizona 287 and Interstate 10. One is taken immediately by the decor, from the black and red booth seats to the posters for French restaurants on the walls. The wait staff are pleasant and attentive, and the food is so good, as we used to say back home, if you hold it over your head, your tongue will slap your brain silly, trying to get to it.
At first blush, I thought it was a bit high priced, with a two egg breakfast for $6.99. Then, when the food started arriving, I had to revise my thinking. One receives a huge, fresh-baked muffin (mine was blueberry)and a glass of juice that would have cost $2.00 at Denny's. The main plate arrived with my two AA large eggs prepared to order, a healthy helping of cubed red skin potatoes, and four strips of smoked bacon. The coffee was $1.99, as was my wife's tea, but it was well worth it. Neither of us was able to completely finish our meal, and were pleasantly stuffed. The only addition we could see to the plate would be to add a bit of onion to the potatoes. Our waiter, Luis saw to our every wish in a very professional and friendly manner. If you ever drive through Arizona on Interstate 10, hop off at Exit 194, turn right if westbound, left if eastbound, go about three blocks and you can't miss it. I give Mimi's Cafe five forks.
