Sprint Nextel Complaint - Absent Customer Service
I just started a new account with Sprint via their website. After a couple of hours, was told to call to activate the service where I was on hold for over 2 hours, was mailed a phone with a number in a different state, promised a return call within 24 hours with a local phone number, no call back, another call to customer service taking most of the evening, was told some confusing story about Nextel/Sprint and how if I would wait 6 months I could have a local number, sent to a local sprint store to get a local number, received TWO bills on the first number. I was told I initially had a Nextel account (which was totally misrepresented under the sprint name). When I complained Nextel punted me to Sprint and Sprint blamed Nextel. Sprint said it takes a little time to sort out problems (my time was 12-14 hour). When I complained of horrific service I was told the problem was fixed, ie "what's your problem you should be happy now." When I said customer satisfaction was not fixed they asked what I wanted and told me it would never happen when I asked for a call from someone who really was committed and care about customer service..........this is my experience as a First Time New Customer.
Bottom line, they are poorly organized, do not demonstrate customer service and do not take any responsibility for deception of not disclosing they are using one name for marketing another for billing, and literally demonstrate NO concern for customer service, an unknown concept in my experience.
