Glendale Nissan Informative - Never again
GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA -- I bought a one year old Nissan Sentra from Glendale Nissan. It was great until I heard a knocking noise on the way home. So I called the dealership and they said I could come have it looked at the next day in the afternoon.
The car salesman said I was also supposed to have them detail my car for free so I made an appointment for both. They say it'll take a couple of hours, tops.I called them the next morning to confirm my appointment and..whoops, no record of any appointment.
I make another appointment for the weekend, cos I work weekdays. I come in and the supervisor in the service department practically sneers at me. I wait a good 15 minutes and he beckons me over.
He says I can't get the free detail cos the salesman never signed for one, and that checking to find the source of the knocking noise would take six hours.
Meanwhile, I am making payments for the car without financing it because I want to get it out of the way, and - fabulous - the finance manager is constantly unavailable.
Did I forget to mention that when you call Glendale Nissan, you're guaranteed to be put on hold for at least 10 minutes, several times in the middle of the conversation, and when they acknowledge your phone presence, they have no clue who you are? To make this process more bearable for them, they often just let you listen to the sound of a ringing dial tone.
I am never stepping foot in this hellhole ever again and I advise everyone to stay away from Glendale Nissan.
