Gateway Informative - Wish I had bought a Dell
OREGON -- Please save yourself a lot of aggravation. Don't buy from Gateway. I can't comment on how good or bad the laptop is because I have not had it in my home long enough to review it. I can tell you this. The service SUCKS! Rude employees who don't give a crap about you. They just say what they want and don't ever follow up with you. They can't work their own systems and refuse to identify themselves. I even tried to write a letter to CEO Ed Coleman. No luck. I only wish I could run back the clock and buy another brand of PC. Please save yourself the headache and buy another brand. Even if you have to pay a bit more it will be worth it in the long run. This Laptop had a broken DVD and no one can tell me how long it will take to fix it. Why? Because they don't give a crap. Try spending 40 minutes on a long distance call to Utah.
Three hours on line and several hours speaking to others about this issue and then see how much you saved. Wish I had bought a Dell....... HELP ED COLEMAN WHERE ARE YOU?????
