Amsher Informative - Amsher Practices Unethical Collection Practices

Review by tmobilesucks2222 on 2007-12-03
BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA -- Amsher is a collection company based out of Birmingham Alabama. T-Mobile put fraudulent international charges on my credit report. Going back and forth with T-Mobile I was finally told that the charges were indeed fraudulent. Thinking everything was over, I got a credit alert showing that my account had been sold to Amsher.

Amsher did not once try to contact me. Not by phone or by email. Once I contacted them I let them know that this was fraud and I am dealing with T-Mobile on my end and that until that gets resolved, please do not report derogatory information about me. They did not budge and did not even bother sending me a fraud packet as they had originally told me.

Amsher is an unethical company that does not bother checking with consumers. They just put information on your credit file without verifying it as that is the easy way out.

I have written several emails to David Sher, Martin Sher, and Melanie Sher and they just had a manager to call me who was extremely provocative.

Amsher did not follow standard policies and procedures with my account. I was not even given an opportunity to explain myself. I do not even know how many other people have to face the same thing.

I WANT MY CREDIT TO BE CLEANED ASAP AS I WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AND I WILL KEEP AT IT UNLESS I AM TAKEN SERIOUSLY.

Amsher and T-Mobile are working together and it was the same issue at hand. So of course it had to be similar.

I suggest you keep documentation on all their calls and letters. Then go and read the Fair Debt Collection Practices act. Find out how many sections they are violating. Do alittle studying and then sue them in small claims court I have done this with another company and have been very successful. If you are successful then your state Attorney General may innitiated a class action suit against them.
