USA Post Office Complaint - Complaints - USA Postal Service

Review by Littlemoma1 on 2007-12-03
TOLEDO, OHIO -- I have been having trouble with the USA Postal Service in my zip code area 43607, For 4 days straight now, I have not received no mail or packages, Not even junk mail. I would like to have some help on this matter. My husband has called them several times, and, have even went to our post office to fined out what is going on. They tell him that his package was delivered at 9:00am in the morning, He was up at 7:00am. And still no mail. We have been looking for our Bills to come also. We are told that it was delivered and scanded, at our address. Witch was not. This is my Husbands Meds that come from Clinic. They had told us it was mailed on the 21st of Nov. It still has not arrived. We are in deep need to get help to get this sloved. Not only us but two of our neighbors have not received theres either. What can we do about this Fraud with the USA Post Office for keeping or giving our mail to the wrong addres's ? Thank You. Toledo, Ohio From Littlemoma

You need to contact the postal inspector, the number should be in the telephone book under governemnt agencies. We had a mailman here locally that must have had a mental breakdoun, they found him lighting peoples mail on fire on the side of a street one day.

If you haven't done so already, contact your creditors and get them to send you duplicate bills. By law they cannot refuse to send you another bill.

Also contact the company that mailed out your husband's medications and let them know the situation. They may be able to call a local pharmacy to get you enough to keep you for a few days.

You need to let the postal inspector know of this right away. Like dealer, we had a mailman who was caught going through people's mail and taking the packages and money out of cards.

Dealer has offered you the correct advice. You can also go to your local PO branch and report the problem. It's not happened here but I've read of instances when undelivered mail was discovered in a carrier's home. Obviously he didn't want to be bothered with delivering it. I've been at my same address long enough that I receive mail everyday, junk and all. If your carrier shows it as being delivered it's at someone else's home or in his basement.

You may be better off getting a PO Box at your local post office for a small fee and have all your packages and bills delivered there.

Send yourself an envelope and see if it gets delivered. Send it certified. That way you will know if it gets delivered. You will have the proof to give the PO when it does not show up.
