Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Complaint - Reliability Non-existent
PENNSYLVANIA -- Purchased Model 4252 in June 2005. Worked flawlessly until September 2007 when the picture died. Took to Samsung authorized repair company. Service representative informed me that 4 circuit boards required replacement (Y board with 2 driver buffer boards and X board). The estimated repair cost including labor was $1,000. Declined repair since new 42" plasma TV's are currently available for that price. I was considering the purchase of 2 additional Samsung plasma TV's - a 42" for my firm to use with audio-visual projection presentations for clients and a 32" for home.
At this point I will never purchase another Samsung product.
