Fallon Nevada Walmart Informative - Boycott Walmart

Review by walmart.com on 2007-12-09
FALLON, NEVADA -- As our country zooms to a recession the question of where to buy looms large. Most importantly, however, remember that although you are one person your day to day decisions on how you live your life over the course of many years do bear major economic impact.
How much longer can we as people or the Earth itself bare the pain of the breaking of the "Working Class." How many times this year did you as a working man or woman give up something you loved or enjoyed so that your family could survive? Asking yourself that question while living in the land of the free and the home of the brave is enough to make any patriotic citizen cry out for dignity.

Let's give the farmer; the small town grocer;hardware store;toy store a chance to show his stuff and let's look at the back to see if we are looking at Made in the United States. Let's be proud of ourselves. Let's be proud enough to turn our backs on unsafe conglomerate zoos that have no business in our communities let alone our country.

Yes, I worked at Walmart in Fallon, Nevada, where I saw employees oppressed and brutalized by word and by deed. I watched unhealthy and unsafe practices. One ear and out the other and one eye shut was how I began until a small frail old woman cashier walked up to me and said," WE CAN'T SAY UNION " Then I said "UNION!" I said it so loud my voice echoed the premise. Two weeks later I was fired. I'm so glad I can look at myself in the mirror again.

Your not forced to work at Wal-mart I can understand why wal-mart doesn’t want any Unions because like Gm and ford they would be picketing each time they didn’t get there way.

Very good review and a good outlook on life now, carry on!(VH)

Let the slave grinding at the mill run out into the field
Let him look up into the heavens and laugh in the bnght air
Let the inchained soul, shut up in darkness and in sighing
Whose face has never seen a smile in thirty weary years
Rose and look out; his chains are loose, his dungeon doors are open;
And let his wife and children return from the oppressors scourge
They look behind at every step and believe it is a dream
Singing: the sun has left his blackness and has found a fresher morning
And the fair moon rejoices in the clear and cloudless night

For empire is no more and now the lion and wolf shall cease
For everything that lives is holy

I feel bad for anyone who works at Wal*Mart. Horrible pay, little to no health benefits, but don't take it out on my because you hate your job.
