Westwood Auto Mall Informative - Westwood Auto Mall Ruined my First Car Buying Experience

Review by mandaca on 2007-12-11
WESTWOOD, MASSACHUSETTS -- On my way home from purchasing a used car from Westwood Auto Mall the check engine light went on. I called to inform them of this and they set me up with an appointment at their service center- but how can I get around without the car I was expecting to be able to drive? Paul (the manager) refused to supply me with a car I could drive- I finally gave in and took my car to the service center where they kept it for an entire week- repairs only took 3 days but they neglected to call me and tell me it was ready. I finally pick up the "repaired" car and on the check engine light went on again and I was experiencing the same initial problems! I have to bring the car back again and when I asked for a car I could drive they told me it was on me to rent one. I'm not even old enough to rent a car! Westwood Auto Mall has shown a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and I would discourage anyone from buying a car from them.

I do not trust them whatsoever and I am bringing my car to an Audi service shop in Boylston before I bring the car in for the second time after only owning it for 3 weeks because I do not trust Westwood to provide me with accurate service.

Sounds to me like your car should have gone to the Audi dealership for a "once over" before you bought it.

Poor service. That check emgine light I'm sure came on while the lot still had it. They reset the system instead of fixing the problem. Of course it's going to come on again. I agree with you. This car was not ready for sale.
